In my country, we do
not celebrate Halloween, but I have some information about that.
Frist of all, Halloween
celebrate on 31 October and Hallowed means evening. Many people wear different
costumes, such as batman, Spiderman and caption of America. Last weekend, I went
to San Antonio to downtown, and I saw many women, men and children were
beautiful costumes and draw on their face. Some of them when you see them, you
will fear. I felt like I am in a movie there, but it was funny. After I returned
to my apartment, I saw my neighbors decorated their apartments with some
pumpkins, zombies and ghouls.
In addition,
children in Halloween go to house to another house nock the door and say trick
or treat and trick means do mischief on homeowners or homeowners give them sweet and candy. To sum up, I
was interested in the Halloween and this is first times I saw people celebrate it
in USA.
These year is also my first Halloween in USA. I like to much because I also feel like in a movie. I think that all the american people love wear costumes because in my country do not do that so much. (Only for the parties)
ReplyDeleteIn my country today is the day of the dead, but there the tradition is simple and people will carry flowers to the tombstones of the people they loved and who died, only it. This was also my first time celebrating Halloween and here I found it funny and fun too, but I felt scared with some costumes.
ReplyDeleteIt is my first time here too, but in Mexico we have a lot of influence about this American tradition. It is fun, but I miss to much the traditional day in my country.
